LATE ARRIVALS, CANCELLATIONS & WAITLIST

  • what if i'm running late?

To keep classes running smoothly and safely, The Health Lab reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone not signed in and ready once the class has started.

We have a maximum 5-minute late policy for all classes except Jump Lab, which has a 0-minute policy.
Anyone arriving after this will not be admitted and will lose their class credit.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

If you can’t make a class, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

Late cancellations: you’ll forfeit your class credit.

You get 3 free late cancellations per month, then it’s a £15 fee for any additional ones.

  • Cancellation and no-show fee?

    No-show: £15 charge.

    Late cancellation: lose your credit.
We allow 3 cancellations per month free of charge — after that, the £15 fee applies.

This helps us make sure everyone gets a fair chance to book into classes.

  • How does waitlist work?

If a class is full, you can join the waitlist on The Health Lab app.
You’ll see “Waitlist Only” instead of “Reserve.”

If you don’t make it into the class, your credit will automatically be returned to your account.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

  • CAN I COME TO A CLASS IF I'M PREGNANT?

Absolutely! Pilates is a wonderful way to stay active during pregnancy.
If you’re new to our studio, please contact us first so we can recommend the right classes for you.
If you already attend, speak to your instructor or our reception team before your next class.
💡 Note: Infrared classes are not recommended during pregnancy.

  • Are children allowed in classes?

For safety reasons, children can’t attend or stay in the studio during regular classes.
Our sessions involve specialised equipment and heated environments, which aren’t suitable for little ones.
We also ask that children don’t wait in reception areas, as these spaces aren’t supervised or child-safe.

The only exception is our The Mum & Bub Lab at our Altrincham studio, designed especially for new mums and their babies.

Thank you for helping us keep the studio safe, calm, and focused for everyone.

If the event includes Reformer Pilates, grip socks are mandatory.

Arrive 10 minutes early to get settled.
Check the event page for full details on what to bring.

Pick them up in-studio before class - prices start from £12.

    Phones off, mind on.
We’re all about being present - please keep your phone away during class so everyone can enjoy a focused experience.
